Moses Part 1 – Deliverance Prepared

In this sermon we look at the first half of Stephen's discussion of Moses in Acts 7:17-34. Here we see that God patiently accomplishes His plan of redemption through His people.

Joseph – Rejection & Rescue

We see from the life of Joseph that God is sovereign over our lives and has brought us rescue through rejection in Jesus! Trust and submit to Him because of His grace.

Isaac – A Picture of Jesus

In this sermon we see four ways that Isaac is a picture of Jesus. Isaac pictured Jesus in his being the long awaited son of promise, in his miraculous birth, in being sacrificed, and in being raised from the dead.

Abraham – Faith to Follow and Wait

Today we begin to examine Stephen's Speech in Acts 7. In verse 1-8 he starts with Abraham and says that he had faith to both follow God's will and to wait on God's will.

Full of Grace and Power

In Acts 6:8-18 we see the arrest and trial of the first martyr of the early church, Stephen. The gospel prepares us both to live for Jesus and to face rejection by the world.

Organized Religion

In Acts 6:1-7 we see the need for, the priorities of, and the blessing of organized religion. Proper biblical organization leads to success in both community care and gospel mission.

Repentance & Rejoicing

Acts 5:27-42. Here we find the Apostles on trial again for preaching the gospel. Listen in as we discuss their boldness and the nature of true faith that we see exampled in them.

Gospel Victory

In Acts 5:17-26 we see the Lord defending His gospel. The LORD has and will see to it that His gospel is free and His opponents are frustrated until He completes His mission to save all of His people.

One Heart and Soul

The gospel produces a community mindset. In Jesus community life means possessions take a back seat to both mission and mutual care. "Acts 4:32-37"
