Not My Will

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. - Matthew 6:10

Beginning in Heaven

Jesus teaches us to start our prayers in heaven at our Father's throne. Here we find both the fuel and the primary goal of all of our prayers. "Pray then like this: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name..." - Matthew 6:9.

Praying Badly

We begin a new mini-series on prayer in this sermon. Before teaching the disciples how to pray, Jesus teaches them, and us, how not to pray. Do not pray like hypocrites or unbelievers. Listen in as we begin to learn how to pray like Jesus. "Matthew 6:5-8"

Sheep Without a Shepherd

Jesus shepherds his people through faithful leaders that he has gifted and called. Listen in as we look at Jesus' compassion in providing pastors for his church. "Matthew 9:35-38"

Wearing the Towel

In this sermon we look at Jesus washing the disciple's feet and see that Jesus calls us to follow Him in wearing the towel, in devoting ourselves to self-sacrificial service of others. "John 13:1-17"

Gospel Shaped Worship

We finished our series on worship with this sermon. Listen is as we discuss "1 Corinthians 14:40" where Paul says that worship is to be well ordered.

Undivided Worship

In this sermon we discuss racism and other things that divide the church. Worship in Jesus' church should reflect the gospel reality of one people from every nation reconciled to God and glorying together in His presence and grace! ( "Rev. 7:9-12" ; "Rev. 5:9" )

Generous Worship

In this sermon we discuss giving and see that God graciously creates generous stewards – people who wholeheartedly serve Him and use money & possessions for His glory ( "Matthew 6:19-24" ).

The Rhythm of Worship

"We do not go to church, we are the church." This statement is often followed by something like, "Therefore we do not have to go to church to be faithful Christians." The first statement is true, but the second one is a false conclusion not based on Scripture. Listen...

Singing the Word

What does the Bible require us to believe and practice when it comes to singing in worship? Are there principles to guide us into what is pleasing to God? Listen in as we discuss these and other questions from "Colossians 3:16" .

Word Filled Worship

The reading and the preaching of God's Word are essential elements of New Testament Worship ( "1 Timothy 4:13" ; "2 Timothy 4:1-5" ).
